The project consisted of a new radio telemetry system to monitor the fire suppression control systems via radio telemetry. The control system is used to close valves that isolate the waste treatment plant from the runways fire supression runoff. Corsair Controls supplied the radio and control equipment to the electrical contractor for installation. The system uses a radio “heartbeat” signal from the remote station to confirm the communication integrity. If the heartbeat is lost for a defined time the system would send an alarm signal.
