The Highland Wastewater Treatment facility was designed with a General Electric programmable controller and SCADA interface. The operation is staffed a single shift per day, 40 hours per week. The SCADA system was designed to alarm the on-call operator in the event of a problem and allow the operator to dial into the system to monitor the condition or to operate the equipment if required. The system controls and monitors the aerators, pumps, waste and return flows, Ph level, and DO in the plant operations
