This project consisted of providing security controls for a new 96 cell housing unit, the building of a new Activities Building, a second floor addition to the vehicle sallyport, and a complete upgrade of the Central Control Station. The Housing Unit consisted of three personal computers (PC) control stations. Two of the units are panel mounted touchscreens and the third is desk top unit designed for supervisory control of the station. The PC’s communicate to a Square D ethernet PLC to operate the doors controls, intercom system, closed circuit cameras and monitors, watchtour system, and video recording. The installed PLC’s were connected via fiberoptic to the Central Control PLC to allow backup control and monitoring.
Corsair Controls was selected by the State of Missouri as a single source vendor for this phase of the project due to the reliability of the systems previously installed.
