Corsair Controls was awarded a five-year, phased contract to upgrade the PLCs used for the door locking control system in the original housing units. Corsair Controls developed the techniques and process of converting the control system with a minimum of downtime to the institution. Corsair Controls was responsible for installation, PLC programming, project coordination with the Owner, and complete point by point changeover and startup. The system consists of sixteen PLCs controlling 2500 Input/Output points that represent 300 controlled doors within the facility.
